Known for his extensive experience as a “1st call” session drummer in Montreal, Maxime Bellavance has accompanied some of the most renown artists in Quebec. Maxime completed his BA in jazz drumming at the University of Montreal in 2007

In 2013, He co-founded the highly acclaimed funk group The Brooks, releasing multiple albums and touring over the world. His drumming style is reminiscent of the funky touch of Mike Clark with the solid back beat of John Bonham. He is a regular contributor to the L.A. based project “Chiiild”. His grooves can be heard on their albums « Synthetic Soul » and « Hope for sale ». Furthermore, he acts as musical director for Quebec star Ariane Moffatt and has signed on to play drums in the “Star Academy”and “The Voice” TV show house band.
